Every company should do this

I really wish more companies would do this. Being able to try on boots that are made on the same last you intend on buying removed a lot of guesswork for new and returning customers. This helps cut down on the number of mis-sizing events and makes me feel a heck of a lot more confident in what I’m ordering and waiting to receive. Fantastic idea, Caswell!

Try-On Boot Service is Awesome.

I have some odd-shaped feet due to several poorly-healed broken toes. Shoe and boot sizing is a real problem for me, sometimes I get lucky, sometimes I don't. With the try-on boot service - there's no luck required. Took a few days for the boots to arrive, tried them on, and got in touch with Kevin at customer service via e-mail to discuss the fit. E-mails we're returned quickly, and he was extremely helpful. The try-on boots come in D width, so we sized for length first with the boots themselves, then measured for width. So if you have a wide foot, don't worry that the try-on boots only come in D width, you *can* use the D width to determine length, *then* use ball circumference to to determine width. I'm just a touch above 11 on Brannock plus like to wear thick socks, so we determined that 11.5 is the perfect length...and with my broken toes...an EE width is appropriate. I'll be placing an order for a custom-made pair very shortly!
