The Libson construction quality is symmetrical finished. The leather is firmly dense and feels durable to the touch. I attended at pop up event, and I plan to go to more in the future. Great overall boot pickup!
This is my second pair of Lisbon boots. My first is in Grizzly Cattail and now I have a pair in Dark Brown Kudu. Both pairs are exceptional both in style and in construction. While I bought both on sale, I think they are worth more than their full retail price. They suggest the boots run true to size and I found this to be true. In my first pair the width was just right but the length seemed a little long. However, I decided to stay with my brannack size and I'm glad I did. This is my second pair of boots made with kudu and I love this leather. It feels both pliable and tough at the same time. One little quirk I found in my recent pair is one shoelace is several inches longer than the other. I'm confident I'll be adding more Caswell boots to my collection.
I love the Wayne last, fits my feet like a glove. The Kudu leather used on these boots is soft and looks refine, minimum break in required for me. Overall these Lisbon boots could be passed as dress boots more than service boots.
I have wanted to try Caswell for some time, but I was not sure which boot to get. I saw these Lisbon boots in dark brown kudu on sale and thought that they would be the perfect way to check out the brand. The fit is great at true-to-size on Brannock. The sleek last makes for a great smart casual look. The dark brown kudu is full of character, but still subdued enough for them to remain quite versatile. I hope more options come out on this last in the future. These definitely will not be my last pair of Caswell boots.
The Kudu is extremely soft but known for durability. I have only seen this color of Kudu on Vibergs. Boot seems well made and is true to brannock size. Nice supporting a small business as well. I had boot and sizing questions. Emailed Kevin and had a prompt reply with the answers. I also like the versatility of last/sole in combination with the leather. Interesting mix. Dress up or down. No regrets.
